Mandolin Orange at The Berkeley Cafe

My friends Andrew Marlin & Emily Frantz of Mandolin Orange played the stage of The Berkeley Cafe and did a fine job.
Their chemistry together is more than obvious. Their Folk-Americana style music is very laid back but intense at the same time. The stories Andrew wove with his lyrics paints a vivid image in your minds eye. Emily’s ability of the fiddle is to be coveted. Though Mandolin Orange consists of two talented individuals if you were to close your eyes you would swear the stage was crowded with a pile of musicians. I know Andrew and Emily personally and they are good people. After seeing them several times I have to admit their musical talent is evident and fills a gap in the local music scene. My friend Gabriel Nelson owner of F/Stop Grooves Photography does the photography for Mandolin Orange and I appreciate him letting me share The Berkeley with him for images to post in my local music blog.
Great work Andrew and Emily, I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
